will long is also in drexel which will kick your folk-rock ass. they have a shiny new demo as well, and they're playing a bunch of shows soon, so go get the latest info on one of the best bands in HP.
---
sean mahan is in another band as well, the jersey-based indiepop adventure known as fulton pyser. they have a pretty nifty web site, and some pretty nifty tunes as well.
---
and in the most significant departure from the four-on-the-floor sound of the 68's, paul brannon is also in pewep in the formats, an entirely synthesizer-based assemblage of utter and complete brilliance. beep boop bop boop.

i'm a big fan of millimeters mercury, as is the rest of the 68's. esp. cause they always bring their drums when we do shows together so we doesn't have to lug ours. :) try to snag some mp3's off their site--they're pretty amazing.
---
we can't forget jeff rufo, whose new band, the abandoned silos, is currently tearing up the chicago scene. i wish we were playing at the bottle. :)
---
and our new favorite comic strip here on the web is rockwood, drawn by the wicked cool brian lundmark. silly, topical, and always damn funny.
